First off you seem like you might be a spammer who posts something that doesn't make sense (see vadenasy above, if you are a spammer not very wise to go in the same thread, I will be keeping a close watch on this thread) and later come and edit it with advertisements. Well it's not like you can do that, once you make a post you have 5 minutes to edit it. After 5 minutes you cannot edit your posts... I did that to fight the kind of spam vadenasy did and to prevent people like John's Shadow from editing their posts and deleting the content (you cannot delete posts, but if you edit you could erase the post and type in something else).
Anyways, to answer your question Fedora Core 2 and 9 are old. I used 10 in school because that's what they had on the Share. 11 was out but I was too lazy to download it and 12 was in beta. 12 is now out.
As for putting it on the PS3, you will have to find a Power PC Version since that's what the PS3 uses.
For Ubuntu you use the same CD that you use for Mac computers with PPC CPUs and you have to install it a little different (there is a guide).
There is a guide for FC5 (As I said that's outdated)
http://linuxlookup.com/2006/nov/20/vide ... nux_on_ps3http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=235078Apparently Fedora 12 (They stopped calling it Fedora Core, I think 9 was the last Fedora Core, 10 was just called Fedora 10) is minimal.
There might be versions specifically for the PS3 so you don't have to do extra steps to get it working...
